What inspires you for 2020?
The Inclusive Governance Progress Report 2018 (July 2016 to 2017 data) highlights some accomplishments and lessons on promoting our Inclusive Governance (IG) approach across the CARE confederation.
RAN-AINA ran from 2014-2017 in Madagascar with $1.2 million from the European Union. It reached 18,000 people directly and 82,068 people indirectly.
Northern Uplands Promoting Climate Resilience was funded by the EU in Laos for $2.7 million. Between 2014 and 2018 it reached 2,460 people directly and 17,220 people indirectly. The project partnered with the Comite de Cooperation avec le Laos (CCL) and SAEDA.
The Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment II (GEWEP II) project ran in Mali from 2016 to 2019 with $6.3 million in support from Norway. Partnering with the Malian organization Ya-g-tu, it reached 96,466 people.
My Right to My Future, Women’s Participation in Peace Building and Conflict Resolution (PEACE II) ran from 2015-2017 in Palestine with $672,993 from the EU and Austrian Agency for Development. It worked with 4,300 people directly.

Most farmers know they will never grow enough to feed their families, and the rainy seasons are getting shorter and less predictable.
In FY2023, CARE worked around the world, contributing to saving lives, fighting poverty, and increasing social justice.
