SDGs Report: How things are now

In a new report in collaboration with the Institute for Policy, Advocacy and Governance, CARE Austria has looked at how things are at the halftime of the SDGs, including an in-depth study on the impact of COVID19 on SDG 3 (Health and Well-being) in Europe and South Asia.

 

Gender in Brief: South Sudan

Since gaining its independence in 2011, South Sudan experienced renewed conflicts in 2013 and 2016 which have significantly undermined the development gains achieved post-independence and contributed to a worsened humanitarian situation. Gender relations in South Sudan are shaped by the social and economic realities of being one of the world’s poorest countries and by decades of conflict.

 

CARE International Annual Report 2010

In the fiscal year 2010, CARE worked in 87 countries around the world, implementing long-term programs to fight poverty, responding to humanitarian emergencies, and advocating for policy change to help increase social justice and equality.

 

CARE International Annual Report 2013

In the fiscal year of 2013, CARE worked in 87 countries around the world, supporting 927 poverty-fighting development and humanitarian aid projects, to reach 97 million people.
