For the last three years, Somalia has had little or no rain. For people accustomed to severe drought, this one is still the worst they have ever experienced. Sirad tells her story.
“This is the worst drought we have ever experienced. Before, we have always been able to go somewhere to get food and water, but now the whole country is affected.”
One day in February, as my colleagues and I were traveling to Hargeisa, Somaliland, we came across the village of Warabaley.
