Humanitarian Access Snapshot #5

The Humanitarian Access Snapshot #5 provides a comprehensive overview of the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza and the West Bank from August 27 to September 10, 2024. This report is in a series issued by non-governmental organizations (NGOs) working in Gaza.

The snapshot discusses the challenges faced by humanitarian workers in Gaza and the West Bank, including safety concerns, limited access to critical items, and restrictions on aid delivery. It highlights the impact of hostilities, displacement orders, and access constraints on NGOs, with specific incidents of attacks on convoys, suspension of water desalination plants, and delays in vaccination campaigns.

The UK suspended arms export licenses to Israel, and there are concerns about compliance with International Humanitarian Law regarding mass displacements and humanitarian assistance provision.
