2023 marked two years since CARE resumed its activities in Poland to support the humanitarian response to the escalation of the war in Ukraine.
With no end to the conflict in sight, CARE Poland continues to provide humanitarian assistance, support integration efforts, and optimize our programs to better adapt to a protracted crisis. In 2023, we reached more than 800,000 people with 34 of our programs.
In addition to the work in Ukraine, the Polish office has also supported social justice programs in Slovakia and Hungary.
